Black on Black - Zinzi Minott
Brent Biennale 2022

UNIT7 was proud to host the closing event for Brent Biennial 2022 and partner with Metroland Cultures hosting a performance by Zinzi Minott of Black on Black, a solo dance performance exploring queerness, blackness and the body as an archive. The performance took place amidst a multi screen audio visual installation consisting of archival footage and other accompanying material from Minot’s personal image collection with a newly commissioned score composed by Gaika.
